POLICIES & INFORMATION
Cookies & browser storage
How COSMIC TRADING LEIC LTD uses cookies and browser storage on this website.
Overview
This notice explains how COSMIC TRADING LEIC LTD ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on this website, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our privacy notice, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
What are cookies and browser storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner. Browser storage (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way but keeps data in your browser rather than sending it back to the server on every request.
Cookies and storage we use
This website uses a small number of strictly necessary storage items. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ct_trade_email | localStorage | Stores the email address you enter on the trade login page if you tick "Keep me signed in on this device", so the form can be pre-filled on your next visit. | Until you clear your browser storage or untick the option. |
| ct_trade_logged_in | sessionStorage | Records that you have signed in during the current browser session. It is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab. | End of browser session. |
These items are used only to support the functionality of the trade login and account features. They are not used for advertising, profiling or analytics, and they are not shared with third parties.
Analytics and third-party services
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, social media or other third-party tracking services on this website. If we add such services in the future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies or storage are set.
Hosting and security
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs to keep the site available and secure. These are not used by us for marketing or tracking. Please see our privacy notice for more information about how we handle personal data.
Managing cookies and storage
You can control cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies and storage currently set on your device.
- Delete some or all of them.
- Block cookies or storage from specific sites, or from all sites.
- Set your browser to alert you when a cookie or storage item is set.
Please note that if you block or delete the storage items listed above, some features of the trade login may not work as intended. Instructions for managing cookies and storage are available in the help section of your browser.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use or to applicable law. The current version will always be available on this page. This notice was last updated in October 2026.
